Research has revealed the identities of decades of past occupants of the studio building, now documented and presented as an art work.

Adrienne Hunter and Nick Snelling work from studios in their wild garden. Both are inspired by nature; Nick works with oils on wood while Adrienne works on paper and cardboard with collage, oil sticks and anything else to hand.
I paint in all mediums; watercolour, acrylic and oils as well as sketch in pen and ink. I live and work in St Leonards and with Hastings nearby I find I have ample inspiration and subject matter on my doorstep. I like to paint the everyday sights, sounds and colourful quirky, happy life of this area and its people.

Through the medium of watercolour and mixed media I explore the diversity and colours of the local coastline, communities and surrounding countryside. The beach hut provides a great studio with changing light and environment.
