Ruby Sams is a printmaker and illustrator specialising in wood engraving and relief. Their practice blends traditional techniques with contemporary image-making, exploring landscape, gender identity, and transformation. Inspired by East Sussex, their work features birds, skies, and landforms to reflect movement and belonging, using detailed mark-making to create intricate, atmospheric prints.
