Hastings Atelier is a small, independent art school founded by artist Alex Tzavaras. We teach traditional techniques of realist drawing and painting, reviving a craft that has largely disappeared from mainstream
art education.
From our newly renovated, purpose-built studio in the heart of Hastings, we run life drawing sessions, painting classes, and structured courses for all levels, helping students develop their skills by working directly from life.
As part of Coastal Currents Open Studios, we welcome visitors to explore the studio and view an exhibition of work by teachers and students.
