Keith Waller’s pictures dance within dreamscapes, the unseen meet subconscious whispers. In landscapes people dance a graphic journey into the abstract mind. Karen Pitcher makes moving etchings, drypoints, monoprints and screen prints of swimmers and dramatic landscapes of trees and mountains.
Lucinda Devenish explores mapping and memory. Her immersive encounters with coastlines translate into etchings, monoprints,
films and paintings.
Robin Holtom is a versatile artist who makes brightly coloured oil paintings of landscapes, interiors, portraits, dancers and nudes
as well as sculptures, monoprints, watercolours and drawings.
Frances Marsden works in ceramic inspired by movement, energy and potential energy. They have developed from drawings of
dance and the rhythms and flows of nature.
We are a group of widely differing artists with extensive experience in all fields of art.
We are planning a preview party on Friday evening of 30th August 2024. All welcome.
We are five artists sharing the studios in the basement of 41 Marina, St Leonards. This has been the working space for many
other artists over fifteen years, working in a variety of media including Pottery, Etching, Screenprinting, Sculpture, and
Photography as well as Painting. The Open Studios this year happen to coincide with Robin Holtom’s 80th birthday so we will
have a studio party on Saturday 31st August. Feel free to join us for a drink. In the present economic conditions we all do our best
to make our work as affordable as possible we look forward to meeting you.
Please note that since we are downstairs and the steps can be slippery in wet weather. 41 Marina is opposite Azur but the
entrance is at the back of the building.
