BIOG

Born Kendal, UK 1974. A Goldsmiths graduate and former Doctoral researcher at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, he is the recipient of numerous grants and awards.

His work has been featured in publications such as Flash Art, ArtReview, Art Monthly, The Guardian, Time Out, Dazed & Confused and World of Interiors.

Recent solo exhibitions at the John Hansard gallery and NIMAC, Cyprus, presented ambitious bodies of work that included film, sculpture, performance and installation.

Forthcoming commissions for Centre for Contemporary Art, Christchurch, New Zealand and Museu de Arte de Brasília will continue in this vein. His current film ‘A Cage For Voices’ commissioned by Channel 4 TV will be part of the forthcoming publication ‘Volatile Structures’ which includes texts by writer and Guardian critic Brian Dillon; Jon Wood, head of research at the Henry Moore Foundation; and curator and critic Jennifer Thatcher. He is represented by Copperfield Gallery, London and Aeroplastics, Brussels.
