Welcome to our space! SLICC, St Leonards Inclusive Crafty Creatives. Locals Theresa Hodge and Penny Pepper, share their different creative practices with
you. Penny, author, poet and disabled activist, focuses on identity, telling unheard stories with humour and wisdom. Byline Times columnist and winner of a
Hemingway Shorts (story competition) 2021. On 11th & 12th September she will do 15 minutes reading & Q&A, at 2pm & 4pm. Books available to buy.
A spoken word veteran, at Hastings Lit Fest, Hastings Fringe and beyond!

Theresa, crafter and disabled activist, has a background in inclusion. Being visually impaired, Theresa brings passion for inclusion into crafting practice, using
materials of different textures to create products that are practical and enjoyable to hold and feel. A selection of her scarves, cushions and handmade gifts will be
available for sale. Her creative craft classes are inclusive to all, and meet the access needs of disabled people with a variety of impairments.
