Curated Programme

An introduction to the Curated Programme

2018 is currently in the planning stages.  sees Coastal Currents presenting a wide range of work curated by a number of partners who all look at the notion of changing how we view our spaces.

Coastal Currents has been focusing on developing what it does best; programming accessible art in the form of exhibitions, performances, interventions, workshops and immersive experiences which all serve to help us look at our surroundings very differently, Reinvigorating spaces, creating venues from the ordinary and transforming perceptions of well known corners of the town, the Festival looks to enliven, surprise, question, inform and delight.

As well as bringing International artists into the town to encourage them to be inspired by the area and leave a legacy, the Festival takes its responsibility to local artists very seriously, with commissions for local artists in the mix.

From the Opening party to the lifeblood of the Festival, the Open Studios, the Festival has something for everyone.

We will announce the programme in Spring 2018.
