Coastal Currents Open Studios returns for 2015, running on the weekends of 5/6 and 12/13 September.
If you want to feature in this popular annual event, whether to show and/ or sell work in your studio, beach hut, garden, shop space or within your own home, then you will find all the information you need to apply online here.
Coastal Currents festival has run since 1999, with Open Studios a regular and popular feature. Hundreds of local artists and makers take part, forming a trail of studios in Hastings and St Leonards, and across areas of Rother. As opposed to other general listings, the Open Studios take place over two specific weekends. As part of this programme you will be provided with advice and guidance on how to manage your event, marketing materials to promote your studio, and networking opportunities with other Open Studio artists.
The Coastal Currents festival brochure and website will promote your event to a wide local and national audience, with the press attention bringing additional visibility. With a print run of 30,000 brochures distributed along the coastline from Folkestone to Brighton and at key sites in London, plus the exposure to over 100,000 visitors (and growing) on our website, this is a great place for your studio or work to be seen.
This year also brings more marketing through our social networking channels with a Google Plus page, Twitter and Facebook all promoting the festival and bringing more attention to the festival as a whole.

This form is intended for listings of Open Studios that take place on two specific weekends:5/6 September 2015 and 12/13 September 2015. However if you are planning an exhibition or event during the festival period of 28th August until 13th September in Hastings, St Leonards and Rother this will be listed separately in the events section of our brochure and you need to fill out the Event Submission Form.

Please note: All marketing material, posters, brochures and flyers will be available to collect later in the year and we shall update you by email when these are ready.

Despite rising print costs, we are keeping our costs the same as last year to ensure inclusion is easy for all participants:
Single listing (up to 40 words + image) £85
1/2 page listing (up to 80 words + 2 images) £155
Full page listing (up to 160 words and 5 images) £255
