2022 COASTAL CURRENTS ARTS FESTIVAL

EVERYONE CAN SUBMIT AN EVENT OR EXHIBITION TO THE FESTIVAL

SUPPORTING THE LOCAL CREATIVE ECONOMY

THE MYCELIUM OF THE CREATIVE COAST

SO SUBMIT FOR INCLUSION IN THE FESTIVAL PROGRAMME.

ON THIS PAGE YOU CAN SUBMIT A LISTING FOR ANYTHING THAT WILL FALL WITHIN THE FESTIVAL PERIOD (SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER 2021) 

Open Studios, Events and Exhibitions CAN BE A MIX OF PHYSICAL AND DIGITAL – Everyone who participates will get a pack of marketing materials nearer the time.

You can do 1 of 4 things:

1)Submit a listing £100
(This will appear in the brochure and be promoted as part of the festival programme with a listing online and links to your site and work.)

2)Submit a Half Page listing £250
(This will appear in the brochure and be promoted as part of the festival programme with a listing online and links to your site and work.)

3)Submit a Full Page listing £450
(This will appear in the brochure and be promoted as part of the festival programme with a listing online and links to your site and work.)

4)Submit a listing and upgrade to a digital Open Studio FILM or Exhibition FILM £800 (subsidised by Coastal Currents)
(Half page listing (worth £250) but includes MARK FRENCH – videographer – who will record a 2 minute edited tour of their studios or work including interview)

(For either option above. Add posts dedicated to your Open Studio or Exhibition on Coastal Currents social media – we will do a post across facebook/insta/twitter and more as well as reposts of your posts)

Feel free to enter any event that falls within the festival period of September/October 2022, paid or free.

If your event is happening in the physical world it must have the necessary permissions and Public Liability Insurance. You can purchase this from a-n.co.uk/about/insurance/

We take Event/Exhibitions submissions from across 1066 Country including Hastings, St Leonards, Battle, Bexhill, Rye, Camber, Robertsbridge, Fairlight, Eastbourne.

*2018 Festival reach was over 1.8 million

Please note:
* We cannot provide refunds – therefore submissions are at your own risk. However we will be flexible in making amendments to your digital listing up until the date of your event.
** Although we would like each artist to have input into their film, for the extremely discounted filming rate it must be understood that final editing and sign off will come from the Coastal Currents team and adhere to an overall format so everyone’s film has an overall cohesiveness to it. Artists will of course have the rights to share the film and use it for their own promotion independently of Coastal Currents.
*** We reserve the right to refuse and refund any listings which we feel may not be suitable for Coastal Currents but we will contact you if this arises to discuss and explain.

The form won’t be FULLY SUBMITTED unless you complete every page and click submit, then you will get a confirmation email. If you don’t follow these steps we can’t be held responsible for missing your listing, so please check.

Please make sure you understand how to make your space safe according to the latest government legislation and HSE guidelines. CC recommends you have a risk assessment in place and ensure that you have DBS checks (if your activity requires them) and other appropriate cover for the event you are hosting.
