An audio-walk for parks created for you, with you.

Explore Alexandra Park in a totally new way with this engaging new piece by Charlotte Spencer. You will be given an mp3 player and headphones and joinedby others. The soundtrack guides you into a realm of spontaneous interactions with your surroundings and the others walking with you. Moving between watching, listening, and following instructions, there is so much to explore and experience. Walking Stories is poetic, playful and accessible for everyone. Almost without noticing, you find yourself immersed in this walking dance. Nothing dangerous or embarrassing, be yourself!

Risk-taking and innovative, but utterly unthreatening immersive theatre. Walking Stories questions our feelings about ourselves, community, time and journey. “sometimes we walk together, sometimes we want to walk alone… sometimes we want to run… we have been wearing these paths for a long time, flattened the grasses, making lines in the earth…”
